Ethiopia Municipal Road LED Street Light Project

Overview

This project is a municipal roadway lighting upgrade in Ethiopia. The site is an open-area road with complex terrain, intended for daily vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The client required robust LED street lights to replace outdated traditional lighting, improving road safety at night and reducing long-term energy and maintenance costs. Yiyazhi Lighting supplied full sets of LED street lights and provided professional technical support for this infrastructure project.

Project Challenges

1. Harsh local environment: strong sunlight, high temperature, and dust. Lamps need high weather resistance and anti-aging performance.

2. Unstable local power grid: lighting fixtures must have good surge protection to avoid damage caused by voltage fluctuations.

3. Low maintenance budget: the client wanted durable products with long service life to cut frequent replacement and repair work.

Our Solution

We selected heavy-duty Yiyazhi Lighting LED street lights with IP66 die-cast aluminum housing and high-efficiency LED chips.
