Ethiopia Urban Main Road LED Street Light Project
Overview
This project is an urban arterial road lighting project in Ethiopia. The multi-lane main road carries heavy daily vehicle traffic and connects urban functional zones. The client planned a full lighting upgrade to improve road safety at night, achieve energy saving, and build a modern urban landscape. Yiyazhi Lighting supplied dual-head LED street lights and delivered complete lighting solution together with technical support for this urban infrastructure project.
Project Challenges
1. High traffic volume: The multi-lane road requires high luminous flux and uniform illumination across all lanes to guarantee driving safety.
2. Complex local climate: Alternating sunny and rainy weather, high UV exposure. Lamps need reliable waterproof, dustproof and anti-aging performance.
3. Large-scale project: Standardized products and simple installation structure are required to speed up construction and control overall project cost.
4. Power grid instability: Surge protection is essential to protect lighting system from voltage spikes.
